Happy Thanksgiving and help celebrate National Man Cave Day

Before I dip out for the long weekend, I wanted to wish everyone a safe and Happy Turkey Gobblin' Day! I also wanted to tell you about Ron Thompson, a man from Allentown, PA who is starting something called a National Man Cave Day (NMCD). This has been receiving a great amount of coverage on my local news all day. And no, this day has no affiliation to this site or it would have been called National "Man-Cave" Day.

While all their wives and girlfriends are braving the doorbusters and large shopping crowds during Black Friday, men are encouraged to hang out in their man caves to watch movies, sports, play video games, or perform any other "man cave" activities during NMCD.

Hailing from the same state as yours truly, Thompson has even created a website that contains an official countdown, lots of videos and a detailed televised sports schedule for that day.

If you are interested, check out the official National Man Cave Day site here.

Have a great Thanksgiving holiday and make sure to check out my post-holiday weekend material, which will include an artwork reveal, a vlog entry, a review on the film In Memoriam, and more.

Happy Thanksgiving Geof.
I wish I could celebrate the other holiday, but alas, I'm pretty sure I'll be thrust out into that hell.

There needs to be a similar thing in the UK, we need an excuse to stay in, hehe. Though our Black Friday is more male focused (the last Friday before Christmas where you go out and get as drunk as humanly possible), but I'd much prefer Man Cave Day.
