Over the past few months, I journeyed outside the Man-Cave and contributed with other blogger buds for blogathons, interviews and even some creative writing for a Choose Your Own Adventure story.
A few weeks go when I was nursing my eye injury, Nigel Maskell, of the Italian Film Review, and I got to chatting around on Facebook about films, blogs and the like. After some discussion about the site's goals, there was enough interest on both sides to the point where Nigel asked me to contribute to the IFR and I gladly accepted. The opportunity to write along some very talented individuals and a reason to start delving deeper into a new film genre was just too great to resist. And look at my last name for Pete's sake. I'm about Italian as the Leaning Tower of Pisa even though I sport an Irish tan.
Since I am now an official reviewer of the IFR staff, I wanted to promote my new venture in writing and invite you all to check out the IFR whenever you get a chance.
Yesterday, I posted my second review on the god awful Cruel Jaws (or Jaws 5), which I gave the worst rating ever for a film. So kudos to me for enduring that pain.

It is great to have you on board IFR Geof- I do believe we discussed Jaws 5 too- but no amount of warning can prepare anyone for that. :)
I am really looking forward to reading your future contributions and glad that you are prepared to suffer really really bad shark movies so that others will not have to- a true champion of the people!
