I found this rare animated video from 1973 on youtube a few weeks ago. While I am happy to see someone give one of my favorite Pink Floyd songs some visual loving, I would also like to thank the animator for ruining the epic song for me as well. Now every time I hear the song, images of men in tights performing ballet and monkeys doing the funky dance runs through my mind. And I have a feeling that's not what the band intended when they wrote the song. Not a good thing.
However 01:48 - 2:51 is trippy as hell. Wish the whole clip looked like that. Enjoy...

Made up all the lost points back after the monkeys! Yeah, what's with the dancers?
I guess this is one of those Mars things...anyway, hub and I are back from our holiday...had a great time and slowly getting back into the routine...
It's been years since I've seen this, the moment the dancing fruits appeared, I remembered!
Wonder how many years it will take to receed from my memory again?
Very cool...except for the men in tights, what the hell was that all about???
I can kinda see where they were going, adding something fluid & graceful, but my god, there had to be another way..!
It's the Mel Brooks' movie Pink Floyd: Men in Tights. Pretty cool otherwise.
Haha I have no idea why someone would link up a Pink Floyd song and men's ballet. The one part is trippy but the rest is rather strange, in a bad way. Monkey dies the Funky Dance.
