News Notes: the DL, Horror Blogger Alliance and iZombie contest

In some boo-hoo/waahhh! news, I have been placed on the 15-day DL retroactive to Sunday morning. Over the weekend, I received a pretty bad eye injury. I will spare you the graphic details but let's just say it will expensive to repair my eye, I am in constant pain, have almost no vision in said injured eye, and have to limit my computer usage. So thankfully I have many scheduled posts to last ETMC a little while as I rest my eye and get back on the mend because my blog time is now extremely limited. I can already feel the DT's and withdrawal kicking in. To make matters worse, Monster-Mania is happening in a little over a week's time and I am not sure whether my eye will be healed by then. So I have that going for me. Party-time! kay enough whining.

Now for the good stuff...

The Horror Blogger Alliance (aka HBA or the bad mutha truckas) have recently been mentioned in issue #103 of the Rue Morgue publication. As a proud member of the HBA, I wanted to do my duty and get the word out for them as they have done for many other bloggers' posts in the past.
